On June 23rd, two interactive workshops designed for children aged 8 to 13 will be held at the Campus des sciences humaines, Damascus Street, offering a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich language, culture, and creative arts of Japan right here in Beirut.

The first workshop, Samurai Dance & Culture (8:30 AM – 11:00 AM), introduces participants to essential Japanese greetings and etiquette, the ancient Samurai code of Bushido, and a traditional fan and sword dance. Children will also have the chance to wear a kimono and take memorable photos. Each participant will receive a certificate of completion.

The second workshop, Manga, Calligraphy & Origami Fun (11:30 AM – 2:00 PM), focuses on Japanese calligraphy, allowing children to write their names in Japanese characters. It also includes an exploration of Manga art guided by a professional artist, as well as hands-on origami crafting. Certificates will be awarded upon completion.

Children may attend one or both workshops. As places are limited, early registration is recommended.
